Visoko’s History: From Ancient Settlements to Medieval Fortresses
With history dating back to the Neolithic era, Visoko is one of the longest continuously occupied towns in southeastern Europe.
Visoko became a bustling hub and Royal home in the Medieval ages – the first Bosnian King, Tvrtko I, was crowned here! – and the city continued to grow with the rule of the Ottoman Empire.
From the fortress just outside the city to the tunnels of Ravne, the archaeological findings from the city’s time as a spiritual and commercial centre continue to be discovered – no matter your interest in history, Visoko is fascinating!

The Quantum Centre of Bosnia – the Pyramids
In 2005, Bosnian researcher and scientist, Dr. Osmanagic, and his team of archaeologists uncovered evidence of four pyramids just outside of Visoko.
There is also a Temple of Mother Earth, and most interestingly, an underground labyrinth of tunnels containing chambers and lakes with high concentrations of healing energy.
What’s So Special About the Pyramids?
The pyramids could be the largest complex of their kind in the world with archaeological findings that tell us, they are over 10,000 years old.
The pyramids of the Sun, Moon and Dragon form a perfect equilateral triangle, making them a beautiful example of sacred geometry.
Many spiritual leaders have tapped into the energy of the pyramids to understand more. Most recently, Darryl Anka, the spiritual channel for Bashar, shared the pyramids were created to channel healing energy and bring balance to the Earth.
Why We Chose to Create The Portal in Visoko
Dominique was in nature, just outside of Visoko when she had a profound spiritual experience – a vision of a portal opening in the land, and a deep understanding of its potential.
It was after this experience Dominique knew Visoko and the surrounding area was the perfect place for EESystem and Theraphi.
And so, she bought a piece of land on this site to build a wellness centre.
